Beach Front Cottage - The Gull's Nest

The cottage was beautiful, clean, and well furnished. Our host gave us a warm welcome and was accommodating. This cottage provided the best view of the beach!

The Gull's Nest is just the cutest, we loved going down the steps and being on the beach. We love renting from Magnolia Beach Getaway, this is the third property our family has rented from them and all have been super clean, comfortable, amazing views and the hosts are just the best to work with.

32nd Wedding Anniversary at The Gulls Nest, Stayed July 23rd thru 27th 2025. This is our third booking with Rosangely and second time staying at the Beach Front Cottage – Head in the clouds, toes in the sand. Rosangely has been an excellent host each time, even when needed a last-minute booking. Great host who will keep you well informed via text and email of what was happening locally. Great communication before and throughout our stay. The Beach Front Cottage was very clean and cool when arrived. We found a card and cookies from Roseangelys welcoming us back and wishing us another fabulous stay. We enjoyed beautiful sunsets and sunrise views each day. Love our beach time together, setting on the wrap around porch having coffee, fishing / bird watching, and just good ole relaxing and enjoying our anniversary stay. We always enjoy the food, drinks and entertainment at the IFM. We did get to see a 6 foot alligator in the back lacks also, that was cool. Fishing was great, caught a limit of trout each day fishing from the shoreline. I left Rosangely 2 bags a fresh trout fillets in the freezer for her and her family. Great Host, Great Place, Great Memories, now on to planning our birthday stay next. 5 Stars, we can’t say enough good things about Rosangely and the Gull Nest. Thanks Again, Warren Janak

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Gull's Nest. Waking up in the morning and enjoying a cup of coffee looking out over the beach and Matagorda Bay was wonderful. The cabin itself was great! Plenty of room, decorated nicely, very clean, and with plenty of amenities. This is our second experience in renting a vacation getaway from Rosangely and she's always been a pleasure to work with. She is quick to answer questions and respond to any issues that may arise (none did). I highly recommend staying at the Gull's Nest and getting to know Rosangely!
